BlumbergExcelsior has announced the promotion of Bob Scragg to Vice President of Finance
May 23, 2006 -- BlumbergExcelsior Inc., a leader in legal supplies, corporate kits, online applications for lawyers, engraved printing and incorporation services, has announced the promotion of Bob Scragg to Vice President of Finance. Prior to the promotion Mr. Scragg was CFO. He is based at Blumberg's headquarters in lower Manhattan.

In making the announcement Robert H. Blumberg, President and CEO, said, "Bob has made many changes and improvements in cash flow management, financial reporting, receivables administration and improved productivity of his staff, to name just a few. Bob has earned the confidence of his co-workers and demonstrated the dedication and abilities that make him worthy of the title.

Before joining BlumbergExcelsior, Mr. Scragg was Corporate Controller at Condé Nast, publisher of over fifty magazines including Vogue, Glamour, Architectural Digest and Golf Digest. He presided over all accounting and financial activities including financial reporting, tax filings and audits. After implementing a corporate-wide ERP system, Mr. Scragg finished his 23-year career at Condé Nast by leading the migration of the media giant's accounting and financial functions from New York City to Wilmington, Delaware. For seven years earlier in his career Mr. Scragg held managerial positions in accounting and finance at Seagram's. Mr. Scragg is a graduate of Baruch College and earned an MBA from Pace University Graduate School of Business.

Mr. Scragg, a competitive tennis player, said, "I am grateful for the opportunity to work at Blumberg and utilize my experience in bringing the company's financial operations to a state-of-the-art status."
