BlumbergExcelsior Hires Jim Alimena as Director of Marketing
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 10, 2005--Joe Maronna, Executive Vice President
of BlumbergExcelsior Inc, has appointed Jim Alimena as Blumberg's new Director
of Marketing. Jim will report to Mr. Maronna.
In making the announcement Mr. Maronna said, "Mr. Alimena will assume
marketing responsibility for the Blumberg product line including management
of the creative process, Internet marketing, development of the corporate marketing
plan and budget and overall marketing direction of the business." Blumberg,
which sells law office supplies, legal forms, law software, engraved stationery,
corporate kits and incorporation services through catalogs, direct sales and
its ecommerce site, www.blumberg.com, will use Jim's background in traditional
and interactive marketing to develop integrated marketing communications programs
using electronic and print media to reach law offices.
Mr. Alimena comes to Blumberg with twenty-five years of business-to-business
marketing experience including focusing on interactive marketing during the
last nine years. Most recently, Alimena was Vice President Marketing at Glenro
Inc. where he was responsible for creating sales opportunities, building brand
awareness, managing Glenro's marketing information system, marketing research,
advertising and public relations. Jim earned a MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson
University where he received the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.
